Inhibitory Activities of Sole Cow Urine and Combined Cow Dung/Cow Urine against the Blight Disease of Ribwort (<i>Plantago lanceolata</i>) at the Cistercian Monastery in Mbengwi, Cameroon

Ribwort (Plantago lanceolata) is a small glabrous to pubescent perennial plant that native Europe, America, North Africa and Asia. Nowadays, it cultivated in many countries across the globe, including Cameroon due its extensive use livestock medicine. Unfortunately Cameroon, however, has been highly infested by blight, reducing yield medicinal value. To reduce blight infestation of ribwort improve yields, we aimed compare efficacy sole cow urine combine dung/cow inhibit disease caused Phyllosticta ophiopogonis on ribwort. At Cistercian Monastery Mbengwi, Momo Division, used Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with 3 Blocks consisting two treatments (cow dung mixed (combine dung/urine) urine) one control. After spraying different blocks ribworts plants combined dung/urine at dosage 3% concentration, found an incidence 32.8% 35.0% sprayed urine, respectively, compared 67.8% This implies mixture reduces significantly.
